The essential duties of this position are to coordinate and deliver nutrition education to Tribal Communities including training and supporting volunteers, and collecting documentation and evaluation data. Additional duties include participating in Tribal committees/coalitions and developing liaisons with organizations to coordinate outreach and encourage healthy eating habits and physically active lifestyles.
The ideal candidate will have education or experience related to Indigenous and Native American populations and a demonstrated knowledge, respect for and awareness of Native American customs, traditions, and socioeconomic needs.
This position is a career appointment that is 100% fixed.
Pay Scale:
$45,700/yr. to $61,500/yr.
This position will promote, in all ways consistent with the other responsibilities of the position, accomplishment of the Affirmative Action goals established by the Division.
